Hi and thank you for visiting my recipe blog.

My name is Julie Cioffi-Brawley and I absolutely LOVE to cook. It’s been a passion of mine for a long time. I especially like healthy-spicy food. I’ve never had much of a taste for bland foods and I’ve always struggled a bit with putting on weight if I didn’t watch it. To that end I started to experiment with different foods to try and make my favorite ones either a little bit spicier or a little bit healthier. I hope you like the results!!

I started this web site because I love to cook and I love healthy spicy food.  Over the years I’ve accumulated and tried thousands of recipes.  If I find a recipe that is a bit bland for my taste……I spice it up!!   I wanted to share these recipes with others that have might have the same flare for spicy food.

The name of the site is due to the 15 pounds that I’ve fluctuated throughout my life.  While I love to cook, I’ve taken great strides to eat as healthy as possible to help keep the weight off.  Quite a few of these recipes have not only been modified to be spicy, they have also been modified to be healthier.
